Please be informed that the South African Government announced the introduction of an electronic online portal for travelers entering and leaving South Africa to make declaration of goods in their possession, on a voluntary basis.

Pilot implementation will be launched on 01 November 2022 at King Shaka International Airport in Durban. Progressive implementation across all South African ports of entry will commence on 01 April 2023.
