As Filipinos and their families in South Africa and neighboring countries such as Mozambique, Botswana, Lesotho, Lesotho, Eswatini, Madagascar, Mauritius, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, continue to live in their host countries, they may face challenges in their work or migration status.
The Embassy believes that familiarity with local laws especially those concerning female spouses of locals, migrant workers, and their children is key to help them handle these challenges with confidence.
We have invited two South African lawyers to provide Filipinos and interested parties with a brief seminar and open forum on the local laws in South Africa and neighboring countries. We hope this event would contribute to further assisting Overseas Filipinos, especially women and children.
Admission is FREE. You can join us at the venue in Pretoria or online via Zoom (the link will be sent to confirmed attendees) and WE REQUEST ADVANCE ONLINE REGISTRATION THROUGH THIS FORM:
The event will also be livestreamed on the Embassy's Official Facebook Page https://facebook.com/PHLinSouthAfrica.
