The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria participated in the International Food Fiesta hosted by St. Pius X Catholic Church on 21 August 2022. Visitors, including members of the Filipino community, enjoyed Philippine dishes chicken adobo, ensaymada, pancit, polvoron, and adobo peanuts.
Tourism promotional videos were shown, while brochures and locally manufactured Oishi Oozies filled snack by Liwayway Food South Africa (Pty) Ltd. given away to visitors.
The Philippines was the only Asian Embassy which participated in the event.
