The ASEAN-Pretoria Committee (APC) held its first meeting in 2023 under the Philippine Chairmanship on 31 January 2023 at the Embassy chancery.
Under its capacity as Chair for the period January to June 2023, the Philippines laid out its proposed activities which aim to enhance the economic, social and cultural engagements of the APC with South Africa.
A briefing conducted by Fruit South Africa - FSA CEO Fhumulani Ratshitanga and Dr. Johannes Monodowafa Mashaba on their engagement with the ASEAN countries immediately followed the meeting.
