Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Hon. Candith Mashego-Dlamini hosted a public participation programme in Mthatha, Eastern Cape from 28-29 February 2024. The programme was attended by foreign Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to South Africa.
The program kicked off with a Gala Dinner at the Mayfair Hotel on 28 February 2024 where visiting diplomats were introduced to the Eastern Cape's potential as a cultural and economic hub exchange.
The following day, the delegation visited the Cibini Junior Secondary School in Nqwathi Village, Mthatha. Foreign Diplomatic Missions handed over donations to the school, in an effort to support the education of the children and their development. The Philippines donated a box of hand sanitizers as well as Oishi Oozies for the kids to enjoy.
