At the town hall meeting with the Filipino Community on Saturday, 06 April 2024 at the Embassy grounds, Pretoria PE highlighted its services and programs on ATN and consular services, outreach, cultural, and gender and development (GAD), all within the context of Bagong Pilipinas campaign. This was followed by a presentation by Pag-IBIG Fund’s Ms. Maribel D. Villacorta regarding the agency's current programs and opportunities for overseas Filipinos in the southern African region. Honorary Consuls Donald Tulcidas of Maputo, Mozambique and Steven Chaimowitz of Cape Town provided their messages via Zoom.
This meeting, which had both in-person and virtual attendees, is the first of a series of gatherings with Filcom and serves as Post’s contribution to the Bagong Pilipinas campaign of the President.
