The Embassy, led by Ambassador Noralyn Jubaira Baja, inaugurated on 2 June 2025 the reopening of the Honorary Consulare in Gaborone, Botswana, following its temporary closure in March 2022.
This milestone underscores the Philippine government's commitment to bring consular services nearer to the Filipinos community. Philippine presence in Botswana also bodes well for the deepening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
